We are organizing the 9th Creative Industries Conference and Workshop of the Academy of Management Discoveries special issue on Creative Industries: Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Technologies.

The workshop will be held at the University of Edinburgh Business School from the 12th to the 14th of June 2024.  

We are looking for empirical, multidisciplinary studies presenting a fresh perspective and new insights on the creative industries and the challenges of the emerging digital technologies, such as generative AI.

To participate in the conference and workshop, send us a summary of your empirical paper, limited to a maximum of 1000 words. The summary should include:

  • a clear identification of the creative industries studied;
  • a brief description of the puzzles, theoretical challenges and empirical phenomena addressed.

Send the material to CICAMD2024@gmail.com by 28 February 2024. Full papers due June 1, 2024.

The conference will be limited in size for logistical reasons.
